Delete your Ersha account & data

This page explains how to delete your Ersha account, or remove specific data without deleting your account.

Delete your entire account

If you're signed in, delete your account directly from your profile page (in the web app) or the More tab (in the mobile app). Otherwise, sign in first, because account deletion has to be confirmed by the account owner.

What gets deleted, and when

As soon as you confirm, your account is signed out and can no longer be used to sign back in. Your profile, farms, fields, sensor readings, crop diagnosis history, and saved calculator results are archived immediately and scheduled for permanent deletion.

Retention period: archived data, including your uploaded diagnosis photos, is permanently and irreversibly erased 30 days after your deletion request.

Exception:if one of your photos was matched to a known plant disease, a copy may be kept past this window to improve Ersha's diagnosis model. That copy is not linked to your name, account, or any other personal information once your account is purged. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Delete specific data without deleting your account

You don't have to delete your whole account to remove a farm or field.

  1. Open the farm or field you want to remove.
  2. Tap Delete and confirm.

The farm or field is removed right away. Other data tied to your account (such as sensor readings, crop diagnosis history, and saved notes) is removed as part of full account deletion above. To have any of it deleted sooner, contact us at support@ersha.et.
